Nebu Ease in Canada: US Shipping, Duties and What a Refund Really Costs
The checkout you see as a Canadian looks identical to the American one. Same prices, same bundles, same dollar sign — with a Canadian flag beside the phone field. Here is what actually changes when the parcel crosses the border in the other direction.

Medical and regulatory notice
Nebu Ease is marketed as a personal wellness aerosolizer. It is not FDA-cleared or FDA-approved as a medical device in the United States, and no Health Canada medical device licence was located for it. It is not a substitute for a prescribed nebulizer. Ask your clinician whether a mesh nebulizer suits your medication before use. This page is editorial research, not medical advice.
Section 1 of 5
The parcel starts in New Jersey
Nebu Ease handheld mesh nebulizer, as listed on the seller's checkout.
This is a cross-border purchase, and the checkout does not say so.
The seller ships from a New Jersey warehouse. There is no Canadian warehouse, no Canadian distributor and no Canadian returns address. Your order leaves the United States and arrives as an imported good.
That single fact changes three things the checkout never mentions: what your card is actually charged, what you may owe at the door, and where the product has to go back to if it is not right for you.
What the checkout shows you
What it does not
Bundle prices in a dollar sign
Which dollar — USD or CAD
A +1 phone field with a Canadian flag
Any Canadian tax line (GST/HST)
"Shipping and tax will be settled upon checkout confirmation"
Whether that tax is US or Canadian, or neither
A 30-day money-back badge
That the return address is in New Jersey
A product photo and description
A Health Canada licence number, manufacturer, or model
None of that is hidden on purpose — it is simply an American checkout that was never localised. The problem is that you are the one absorbing the difference.
Section 2 of 5
What lands on your card, and what lands at your door
These are two different charges, days apart, and the checkout only shows you the first one.
The price is in US dollarsThe checkout shows a dollar sign without stating the currency, and the figures match the US site exactly: $49.99 for one unit, $119.97 for three. Your card is charged in USD and your bank applies its own conversion rate plus any foreign transaction fee.
GST or HST applies at the borderThe Canada Border Services Agency assesses GST or HST on imported goods. The rate depends on your province, and the courier collects it — usually with a brokerage or handling fee added on top.
Duty depends on classificationWhether duty also applies depends on how the device is classified and its country of manufacture, neither of which the seller publishes. Budget for the possibility rather than assuming zero.
The courier fee is the part people forgetBrokerage and handling charges are set by the carrier, not by the government. On a modest parcel they can easily exceed the tax itself.

Four of the five lines above are invisible at checkout.
We are deliberately not quoting a conversion rate, a GST figure or a brokerage fee, because all three vary by bank, province and carrier, and none is published by the seller. The point is not the number — it is that the number on screen is not the number you pay.
One useful check before you orderRead your card's foreign transaction fee. A card that charges 2.5% on a US-dollar purchase adds real money to an order this size, and several Canadian cards charge nothing on USD.
Section 3 of 5
No Health Canada licence was located
A nebulizer that delivers medication is regulated as a medical device in Canada. Health Canada issues a medical device licence, and the licence number appears on the labelling. We searched for one for Nebu Ease and did not find it.
The seller's own terms reinforce that: the product is described as a personal wellness aerosolizer for humidification and wellness mist administration, and the terms state it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. That is a wellness positioning, not a medical device positioning.
"Nebu Ease™ is an over-the-counter ultrasonic vibrating mesh aerosolizer intended for personal humidification and wellness mist administration."
— the seller's Terms of Service, as published
To be precise about what this page is and is not saying: we are not asserting that the product is illegal in Canada. What we are saying is narrower and verifiable — no Health Canada medical device licence was located, and no licence number, manufacturer name or model designation is published alongside the product.

Why this matters, practicallyIf your parcel is examined at the border and the device has no licence number and no manufacturer on the label, clearance can be held or refused. That is your parcel, your money and your return postage — not the seller's.
And the clinical pointNo published list of compatible medications, no aerosol particle size, no nebulization rate. For a device you breathe through, those are the specifications that decide whether it suits your treatment at all.

The return goes back to New Jersey — at your cost
This is where a cross-border purchase differs most from a domestic one, and it is the part the 30-day badge does not convey.
"To return your product, please email support at: support@buyskyline.co. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable."
— the seller's Returns Policy, as published
The address is AmericanReturns go to 841 Fairmount Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07201, USA. From Canada that is an international shipment, paid by you, and it must clear US customs on the way in.
A minimum 15% restocking fee appliesThe returns policy reserves the right to charge a minimum of a 15% restocking fee to process returns. On a US$119.97 order that is at least US$18 — and "minimum" means it can be more.
The conditions are strictThe item must arrive in the same condition, in its original packaging, with masks, mouthpiece and accessories, plus a note containing your full name and the email used to purchase.
The policy says the seller does not guarantee receiptIts own text recommends a trackable service or shipping insurance for items over US$75 and states it does not guarantee it will receive your returned item. From Canada, use tracking. Always.

A return can cost more than the product is worth to you.
That last line is the one nobody expects. The GST/HST and the courier brokerage you paid at the door belong to the government and the carrier. They are not part of the order the seller refunds — and no returns policy anywhere returns them to you.
Ask this before you ship anything back"Please confirm in writing the exact amount I will receive, after shipping and after any restocking fee, and confirm when the 30-day window closes for a parcel shipping from Canada." A written answer is far easier to hold someone to than a policy page.
Section 5 of 5
If you are ordering from Canada, do these five things
In order. The first two are the ones that save the most money, and neither is mentioned on the checkout.
Assume the total is higher than the number on screen. Convert the USD price yourself, add your card's foreign transaction fee, and budget for GST/HST plus a courier brokerage charge at the door. If that total is not acceptable, stop here — that is a complete answer.
Check your card's foreign transaction fee before you pay. On a US$119.97 order, a 2.5% fee is real money, and some Canadian cards charge nothing on USD purchases.
Screenshot the bundle screen and save the confirmation email. The confirmation carries the merchant identity, the order number and the currency — the three things you need for any support route or card dispute.
Photograph the parcel and the label before opening. If it is examined at the border, or if you later need a return, dated photographs of the sealed parcel and the device label are your evidence. Given that no manufacturer or model is published, the label is the only documentation the device carries.
Before returning it, get the number in writing. Ask for the exact refund after shipping and after any restocking fee, confirm the parcel must reach Elizabeth, NJ within the 30-day window, and ship it tracked — the policy itself says the seller does not guarantee receipt.
Stop immediately if anyone asks for thisBank transfer, a convenience-store code, cryptocurrency, or a "customs release fee" payable to the seller before delivery. Duties and tax are paid to the government through the carrier, never to a seller's personal account, and none of the first three payment routes gives you a dispute process.
Want the device itself, not the shipping?
This page covers the Canadian cross-border side: currency, duties, regulatory status and returns. Frequently asked questions
Does Nebu Ease ship to Canada?
The seller ships from a New Jersey warehouse to Canadian addresses. The checkout accepts an address outside the United States, but it does not display an estimated delivery date, a customs estimate or a Canadian tax line before you pay.
Will I pay duty or tax when the parcel arrives in Canada?
Likely yes on goods, and the checkout does not tell you how much. CBSA assesses GST or HST on imported goods, and the courier normally adds its own brokerage fee to collect it. Budget for a charge at the door on top of the US price you paid.
Is the price in Canadian dollars?
No. The checkout shows a dollar sign without stating the currency, and the prices match the US site exactly — $49.99 for one unit, $119.97 for three. Your card is charged in US dollars and your bank applies its own conversion rate plus any foreign transaction fee.
Does Nebu Ease have a Health Canada licence?
No medical device licence from Health Canada was located for Nebu Ease. The seller describes the product as a personal wellness aerosolizer rather than a medical device, and publishes no licence number, manufacturer name or device model designation.
What does a return cost if I am in Canada?
The returns policy requires you to ship the item back to 841 Fairmount Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07201, USA, at your own cost, and states that shipping is non-refundable. Cross-border postage from Canada is typically significant, and a 30-day window applies.
Is the 30-day guarantee enough time from Canada?
It is tight. The window counts from delivery, and a return from Canada needs to reach New Jersey within it. Allow time for customs on the way back, and ask support in writing when the clock starts and whether a parcel in transit is accepted.
Which support contact applies to a Canadian order?
The seller publishes support@buyskyline.co and +1 (866) 697-4823, with a stated reply time of 24 hours. Use the contact on your own order confirmation, since that is the party that controls your charge.
Can I use my prescribed medication in Nebu Ease?
The seller publishes no list of compatible medications. Ask your clinician whether a vibrating mesh nebulizer suits your prescribed formulation before using it, and do not switch away from a prescribed device on the strength of a product listing.
What is the $9.95 add-on at checkout?
It is an optional three-year extended protection plan offered at the same $9.95 regardless of bundle size. It is not pre-selected. It is a separate product with its own terms and should not be confused with the 30-day return guarantee.
What payment methods protect me?
Credit card and PayPal, because both offer a dispute process. A request for bank transfer, a convenience-store code or cryptocurrency removes that route entirely. Keep the confirmation email and your card statement for any dispute.
